A DIFFERENT KIND OF INDUSTRIAL PARTNER

APPLICATION AUTHORITY. NOT A CATALOG.

Kelley Industrial is a rotating equipment reliability partner focused on protecting critical equipment in high-risk industrial environments. We work with refineries, chemical plants, and heavy manufacturers to solve contamination, sealing, and equipment protection problems that cause unplanned downtime and premature failures.

Our approach starts with the application — the equipment, the operating environment, the failure history. That specificity comes from nearly three decades of field work across Midwest refineries and industrial plants, and it’s what allows us to recommend solutions we can stand behind.

Application Authority
We know the equipment, the environment, and the failure modes. Every recommendation starts with understanding the problem — not the price list.

Disciplined Focus
We carry what works and recommend what’s right. Breadth without depth is not in our model. Every manufacturer we represent earns their place.

Operational Partnership
We operate as an extension of your reliability and maintenance program — not as a transaction counter. We’ve been proving that since 1997.

Manufacturer Integrity
We align with manufacturers who engineer solutions to real industrial problems. Inpro/Seal. SEPCO. Flexicraft. Proco. Zircon. Curated, not accumulated.

OUR CAPABILITIES

Each capability is built around deep application knowledge and manufacturer partnerships matched to your equipment and operating environment. Start with the problem — not the part number.

Bearing isolation, fluid sealing, mechanical packing, and controlled movement for pumps, motors, gearboxes, turbines, fans, and agitators. The single most effective set of interventions for eliminating containment-driven bearing failures and chronic seal leaks in continuous-process environments

Safety-critical sewer covers engineered for refinery outages and hot work operations. The Century 2000 captures and quenches weld spatter on contact – preventing ignition source from reaching the sewer system below. Field-tested across North American refineries and process chemical plants. No adequate substitutes in standard inventory.

Anti-icing, deicing, and static dust control for conveyors and material handling systems. Zircon Liquid Heat is effective to -60F – keeping belts, rollers, and transfer points operational when standard products fail. Latex 100 controls fugitive dust on bulk storage surfaces for environmental compliance.

Custom-fabricated gaskets in PTFE, flexible graphite, and spiral wound constructions. Speciatly hose assemblies for chemical transfers and high-temperature process service. Engineered plastics and cast polyurethane for wear and abrasion applications. Sourced and fabricated to the exact specifics the application requires – no substitutes.

WHAT WE SOLVE.

Rotating equipment failure in refineries, chemical plants, and heavy manufacturing is rarely random. It follows patterns tied to specific equipment and specific failure modes. The majority trace back to four preventable causes.

BEARING CONTAMINATION & PREMATURE FAILURE
Moisture, particulate, and process vapors enter bearing housings through worn lip seals — degrading lubricant, accelerating wear, and driving unplanned downtime. Non-contact bearing isolators eliminate the contamination path permanently.

FLUID LEAKAGE & SEAL FAILURE
Wrong packing fiber, incorrect construction for the service, or inadequate mechanical seal selection for the operating conditions. Chronic leakage on pumps, valves, and mixers is a material selection problem — not a maintenance frequency problem.

PIPING STRESS & VIBRATION DAMAGE
Uncontrolled thermal expansion and unabsorbed equipment vibration transmit stress to connected piping and rotating equipment — accelerating wear on flanges, fittings, and bearing housings that appear unrelated to the expansion joint.

HOTWORK & TURNAROUND SAFETY EXPOSURE
Weld spatter and cutting slag near open sewer drains during refinery turnarounds create a documented ignition hazard. Standard covers and improvised solutions do not adequately address the risk. The Century 2000 does.

WHERE WE WORK

INDUSTRIES SERVED

Environments where rotating equipment runs continuously and the cost of failure is measured in lost production, safety exposure, and emergency maintenance. Our application experience is concentrated where that reality is most acute.

Bearing isolation, fluid sealing, and turnaround protection for FCC units, alkylation, hydrotreating, coking, and utility systems.

Motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and agitators running 24/7 in dust, moisture, and chemical exposure.

Boiler feed pumps, turbine bearing protection, coal handling deicing, and fluid sealing from the turbine hall to the coal yard.

CURATED. NOT ACCUMULATED

Every manufacturer we represent earns their place by solving a defined problem in the environments we serve. These are not catalog partnerships. They are technical alliances built on decades of field collaboration and shared commitment to application-driven reliability.

INPRO/SEAL

Inventor of the bearing isolator. Over 45 years of non-contact bearing protection and Air Mizer shaft seal technology for rotating equipment.

SEPCO

American manufacturer of compression packing, mechanical seals, and engineered thermoplastics. ISO 9001:2015. Serving 30+ countries.

FLEXICRAFT

Metal, rubber, PTFE, and fabric expansion joints. One source for every flexible piping solution across the industrial application spectrum.

PROCO

Rubber, PTFE, and metal expansion joints using tire industry reinforcement technology for superior movement capability in demanding systems.

ZIRCON

Over 40 years of field-proven freeze control and dust control formulations for conveyors and material handling in extreme environments

BUILT ON 29 YEARS

OF SHOWING UP.

Kelley Industrial was founded in Cleveland, Ohio — a city whose industrial reputation was built by companies that valued technical precision, operational discipline, and long-term commitment over short-term gain. That tradition shaped how we built this business.

Founded in Cleveland, Ohio. Focused on a specific set of problems from day one — not chasing breadth for its own sake.

Nearly three decades of field experience across Midwest refineries, chemical plants, and heavy manufacturing facilities.

Curated manufacturer partnerships. Inpro/Seal. SEPCO. Flexicraft. Proco. Zircon. Each earns their place by solving defined problems.

Catalog defaults. Every recommendation starts with the application — specified for the actual operating conditions, not pulled from a bin.
